Caribbean Area Presidency

The administration of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is facilitated by geographic areas.

The First Presidency

The man who has been an apostle the longest is the president of the Church, and by inspiration he selects two other apostles as counselors. These three function as the First Presidency.

The Quorum of the Twelve

The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is the second-highest presiding body in the government of the Church. Its members travel the world as special witnesses of the name of Christ and serve under the direction of the First Presidency.
